Copyright & DMCA Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026Version 2026-08-14
Sustainable Life Investments, LLC ("SLI", "we", "us") respects copyright and expects the same from everyone who uses our sites. This policy explains how to report content on sustainablelifeinvestments.com or parkpillow.com that you believe infringes your copyright, and how to respond if your content was removed. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Our Content
Photographs, floor plans, descriptions, design, and software on our sites are owned by SLI or licensed to us. "Sustainable Life Investments", "ParkPillow", and "BnB Rewards!" are our marks. You may not copy, republish, or use our property photography — including on a competing listing, a resale site, or an aggregator — without our written permission. Requests: hello@sustainablelifeinvestments.com.
2. Designated Agent
Send copyright notices to our designated agent under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512:
DMCA Designated Agent
Sustainable Life Investments, LLC
Email: hello@sustainablelifeinvestments.com — subject line "DMCA Notice"
Notices sent to any other address may be delayed. This agent handles copyright notices only; other legal correspondence should go to the same address without the DMCA subject line.
3. How to Submit an Infringement Notice
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed, or a representative list if there are several.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — a direct URL is best.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
An incomplete notice may not trigger our obligation to act, and we may ask you to resubmit it.
4. What We Do With a Notice
- We remove or disable access to the identified material expeditiously if the notice is complete.
- We take reasonable steps to notify the person who posted it and forward a copy of your notice, which may include your contact information.
- We keep a record of every notice, action taken, and date.
5. Counter-Notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where you live (or, if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party or its agent.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless they notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.
6. Repeat Infringers
We have adopted and reasonably implement a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. Two or more valid, uncontested notices against the same account will ordinarily result in termination, and a single egregious case may result in immediate termination.
7. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees. Please be sure of your claim before sending a notice or counter-notice.
8. Trademark and Other Complaints
For trademark, publicity-rights, or other non-copyright complaints, email hello@sustainablelifeinvestments.com with a description of the issue, the material at issue, and the basis of your rights.
