    Rewards Program Terms

    Last updated: July 16, 2026

These Rewards Program Terms ("Program Terms") govern the Sustainable Life Investments, LLC ("SLI", "we", "us", "our") guest rewards program (the "Program"). By enrolling or participating, you ("you", "member") agree to these Program Terms, our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and the SLI Short-Term Rental Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not enroll or use Program benefits.

    1. Eligibility & Enrollment

    • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
    • One membership per person. Duplicate accounts may be merged or closed.
    • A valid email address and phone number are required for identity and anti-fraud.
    • Employees, contractors, and their immediate household are not eligible to earn credits from their own stays.
    • SLI may refuse enrollment or terminate a membership at its sole discretion, consistent with applicable law.

    2. Program Currency (Credits)

Program credits ("Credits") are a promotional benefit displayed in U.S. dollars for convenience only. Credits are not money, not legal tender, not a gift card or stored-value instrument, not a security, not property, and confer no ownership interest in SLI. Credits have no cash value, are not FDIC-insured, and cannot be sold, exchanged, or traded. Credits are a limited, revocable license to receive a discount on a future qualifying booking, subject to these Program Terms.

    3. How Credits Are Earned

    • Credits post only after a completed, non-cancelled, non-refunded, and non-chargebacked qualifying stay at an SLI property.
    • Direct bookings with SLI are the default earning channel. Stays booked through third-party platforms (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, etc.) earn Credits only when expressly allowed by an active reward rule.
    • Referrals — referrer side: the referrer's $20 Credit posts only after the referee's first qualifying stay completes.
    • Referrals — referee side (only exception to post-stay earning): the referee's $20 welcome Credit posts immediately upon valid enrollment with a referral code and may be applied to the current (first) reservation. The referee still separately earns the standard stay-tier Credit for that same reservation after check-out. If the referral is later voided (self-referral, fraud, chargeback, cancellation, or violation of these terms), the welcome Credit and any redemption of it will be reversed under Section 10.
    • Aside from the referee welcome Credit above, no other credits, bonuses, or milestone perks are issued at enrollment. There is no general welcome bonus for joining the Program.
    • Earn rates, minimums, caps, and rule-specific conditions are set by SLI and may vary by unit, channel, and season. The rule in effect at the time of the qualifying stay governs.

Current stay-earning ladder (SLI direct bookings, per stay, not cumulative):

    Nights stayedCredit earned
    2 nights$5
    3 nights$10
    4 nights$15
    5 nights$20
    6 nights$25
    7–9 nights$35
    10–14 nights$40
    15–29 nights$50
    30+ nights$100
    Referral (each side)$20

Tiers are non-cumulative — each qualifying stay earns the single amount matching its total night count, not a sum of lower tiers. Stays under two (2) nights, and stays booked through third-party platforms unless expressly enabled by a rule, do not earn Credit. SLI may modify the ladder at any time in accordance with Section 14.

    4. How Credits Can Be Redeemed

Credits are redeemable solely as a discount on a future direct booking at an SLI property. Credits cannot be redeemed for or applied to:

    • Cash, checks, wire transfers, gift cards, or any cash equivalent.
    • Refunds of prior payments.
    • Taxes, cleaning fees, resort fees, damage or incidental charges, security deposits, or third-party charges.
    • Merchandise, services, or any product other than an SLI stay.
    • Bookings made through Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or any third-party platform.
    • Reservations retroactively (Credits must be applied at the time of booking or per the redemption flow SLI provides).

    5. Non-Transferable, Non-Assignable, Personal

Credits, referral codes, perks, and Program membership are personal to the enrolled member. They are non-transferable, non-assignable, non-poolable, non-inheritable, and may not be sold, gifted, combined across accounts, or used by another person. Use of another member's referral code or credit is prohibited and voids the benefit. Credits generally cannot be combined with certain other promotions where noted at booking.

    6. Not Usable on the Earning Reservation (with One Referee Exception)

Stay-tier Credits are earned only after checkout of a qualifying stay and therefore cannot be applied to the same reservation that earned them. The referrer's referral Credit likewise posts only after the referee's first qualifying stay completes and cannot be applied to that stay.

Exception — referee welcome Credit: a new guest who enrolls with a valid referral code receives their $20 welcome Credit at enrollment and may apply it to the same (first) reservation. That same reservation still earns its normal stay-tier Credit after check-out. This is the only situation in which a Credit may be redeemed on the reservation associated with earning/enrollment.

    7. Minimums, Caps & Rounding

SLI may set minimum redemption thresholds, per-booking or per-member caps, blackout dates, and other reasonable limits. Credits round to the nearest cent. Partial redemptions leave the remaining balance in your wallet, subject to expiration.

    8. Expiration

Unless a specific rule states otherwise, Credits expire eighteen (18) months after the date they post. Expiration dates are visible in your member portal. Expired Credits are forfeited and will not be reinstated. Milestone perks (e.g., early check-in, late checkout, welcome basket) expire as noted at the time they are granted, or when the stay for which they were intended completes without being used.

    9. Referrals & Anti-Abuse

    • Self-referrals are prohibited.
    • Referrals between people sharing a household, payment method, or device may be treated as self-referrals and voided.
    • The referee must be a new guest with no prior completed stay at an SLI property.
    • Referral codes must be provided at or before check-in; codes are single-attribution — the first valid use wins.
    • Staged, fraudulent, reciprocal, or bulk-generated referrals are void, and any resulting Credits will be reversed.

    10. Fraud, Abuse & Clawback

SLI may, at its sole discretion and consistent with applicable law, suspend, reduce, reverse, forfeit, or clawback Credits and terminate a membership for any actual or reasonably suspected: fraud, misrepresentation, chargeback, violation of the Rental Agreement, damage to a property, illegal activity, abusive behavior toward staff or guests, or violation of these Program Terms. Reversals may be applied retroactively even after Credits have been earned or displayed.

    11. Cancellations, Modifications & Chargebacks

If a qualifying stay is later cancelled, refunded, chargebacked, or materially modified, SLI will reverse the associated Credits. If those Credits have already been redeemed, the member's wallet may reflect a negative balance and future earnings will offset that balance before becoming usable.

    12. Account Changes & Closure

You may leave the Program at any time by emailing us at hello@sustainablelifeinvestments.com. Unredeemed Credits are forfeited upon voluntary closure. SLI may close accounts that have had no qualifying activity for 24 consecutive months, and any remaining Credits will be forfeited on closure.

    13. Taxes

Any tax liability that may arise from Program benefits, redemptions, or perks is your sole responsibility. SLI does not provide tax advice.

    14. Program Changes

SLI may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, any reward rule, earn or redemption rate, expiration period, perk, or these Program Terms at any time, with or without notice, consistent with applicable law. If SLI terminates the Program as a whole, members will have at least thirty (30) days from the announcement to redeem any then-existing Credits, after which unredeemed Credits will expire.

    15. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with the Program is handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Privacy Policy §10 for Program-specific detail.

    16. Disputes & Governing Law

These Program Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at hello@sustainablelifeinvestments.com and give us at least thirty (30) days to resolve the matter informally. SLI's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Program is limited to the U.S. dollar value of your current unexpired Credit balance at the time of the claim. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and SLI each waive the right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action related to the Program.

    17. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Program Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Program Terms, together with the SLI Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Short-Term Rental Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and SLI regarding the Program and supersede any prior understanding.
